Video Introduction to Unimy

The major features of unimy are:

User authorization and authentication

Unimy supports multiple user types, including students, professors, TAs, and CRs, with different levels of access and permissions for each type. This ensures that only authorized users can access sensitive data, and helps to maintain the integrity of the system.

Notice system

Those with permission can add notices for different groups of students. Once a notice has been added, all the students within that group will be notified with a method of their choice, such as Telegram, Email, Website Dashboard, Discord, or Webhook. Unimy has integration with all of these platforms, so that once a notice has been added, those within the group can promptly get notified with any platform or method they choose.

Class schedule management

Those with permission can add classes, lectures, and practical schedule for different subjects. The schedule follows a pattern where it can be repeated weekly, biweekly, and so on. Unimy is integrated with different calendar systems, including Google Calendar, Proton Calendar, and Outlook. For those who do not use these systems, Unimy also supports iCal format, which is universally supported in different calendar applications.

Event section

There is also an event section where one-time non-recurring events that are happening within the college can be seen at a glance. This section can also be integrated with the calendar system mentioned above.

Resource sharing

Unimy has a resource section, which acts like Google Drive, where teachers can share study resources with students. This includes PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, lecture videos, URLs, and more. Students can access these resources directly from the website, making it easy to stay up-to-date with class materials.
